Our new airport, the fourth of France Airports Pack #4, is now available. This is the Calvi Sainte-Catherine airport (LFKC) which we have developed in great detail, including the surrounding entirely reworked vegatation areas and numerous animations.

MSFS 2025 roadmap! |

The new version 2024 of MSFS has been available for over a month, it is now possible to see things more clearly and plan a number of things at least for the coming months...
The first observation regarding the migration to MSFS2024 is that it will certainly be long given the many problems and uncertainties of this new version that block us for future native versions of our addons! LOD management is probably the most penalizing at the moment, mesh problems, military zones now impossible to cover with our ground textures... not to mention the MSFS2024 Marketplace on which we ourselves editors have no information and do not even know on what criteria our MSFS2020 scenes are validated or not as "MSFS2024 compatible"!
This first observation made, it appears that the MSFS2020 scenes running under MSFS2024 in "compatibility" mode are not managed in the same way as native MSFS2024 scenes and therefore work relatively well, which suggests a longer lifespan for MSFS2020 and its dedicated scenes than one might have imagined.
- We will therefore prioritize updating all MSFS2020 scenes requiring corrections and adjustments so that they can work as well as possible under MSFS2024 without of course modifying their operation under MSFS2020.
- The delay we anticipate (assuming we are right) in the final adoption of MSFS2024 by most users should give us time to complete our product lines for MSFS2020 (still compatible for MSFS2024), in order to avoid having to continue developing the missing products once MSFS2024 is fully current and MSFS2020 is gradually abandoned.
The next releases for MSFS2020 compatible with MSFS2024 will be the following:
- update of the 3 VFR France scenes (North-West, South-West and South-East) and Paris VFR Airports
- update of VFR Obstacles and landmarks
- update of some regional airports (mainly those that have undergone significant changes to their infrastructure)
- the North-East VFR pack
- Ajaccio Airport followed by the Airports pack #4 which will therefore be complete
We will then tackle the last VFR Centre pack at the same time as the first two airports of pack #5, namely Figari and Bastia.
- Concerning new native MSFS2024 versions of our addons, we continue to test the development with the SDK while waiting for us to be able to really produce native versions but especially versions using the features and advantages of MSFS2024, otherwise it has no particular interest in the immediate future.
NOTE CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF MSFS2020 SCENES UNDER MSFS2024
This question is starting to be asked regularly even if the installation procedure is very simple compared to what it was with the different versions of FSX and P3D!
- For installations from a program of the type "setup_" downloaded from the purchase site of the product concerned, when choosing the installation directory (normally the proposed directory is that of MSFS2020) it is enough to choose the installation directory of MSFS2024 (the one that contains the Community subdirectory) and that's it!
We are thinking about redoing our installation programs of current products to offer the choice of simulator from the launch, but nothing has been decided yet because it represents a lot of work, many updates that in the end might not be necessary if we can offer native versions of MSFS2024 within a reasonable time.
- For installations from the Microsoft Marketplace or from vendor sites offering an automated installation system from their interface, there is nothing special to do, the products will be automatically installed in the right locations.

PS: Concerning the other simulators, we have stopped developments for Aerofly FS, P3D and X-Plane, like many other studios, these simulators now only represent a very small market but also and above all do not offer any conversion/recovery tool allowing us to continue to devote ourselves to them a minimum while remaining productive...
We have however closed the X-Plane scenery by making them compatible with version 12 for those that were not already, these updates being available from the resellers concerned and on our online store in your customer account if you have one.

Our VFR North-East pack is under development and will be available before the end of the year. Like our other VFR packs, it will contain more than 30 airports as well as numerous VFR objects and reworked photo-realistic areas.
